Can Arbon use all his dice if on same space as monster?

Hello,

I play using the French version of the rules.
It states for Arbon that he fights as if using a bow (it does not say as an archer).
Then the bow rules state that a character with a bow may use all his dice if fighting on the same space as a monster, but this does not apply for the archer.

The question is then: does Arbon merely use an arc, or is he an archer? The later meaning that he always must roll his dice successively; the former is clearly more advantageous.

I'm pretty sure Arbon is an archer, so he always rolls one dice after an other, exactly as Chada does.
The only hero known to me, that can do both by himself (archery and ... "swordfight" [? I'm sorry for this word, I hope it's understood]) is Bragor the Tarus!

Auf Arbons Heldentafel steht:

Sonderfähigkeit: Arbon muss seine Würfel nacheinander werfen (siehe Bogenschütze).

Arbon ist also wie der Bogenschütze zu behandeln.

Beim zweiten Teil der Frage widerspreche ich dir aber.
Abgesehen von Bragor kann doch auch jeder andere Held, der einen Bogen trägt, (außer dem Bogenschützen) sich im Kampf, - wenn er mit der Kreatur auf demselben Feld steht - entscheiden, ob er die Kreatur im Nahkampf oder Fernkampf angreift.

Hmm, vielleicht nicht ganz korrekt ausgedrückt. Bragor ist der einzige Held, der das von sich aus kann, ohne weiteres Hilfsmittel

And what about his capacity. it says in french rules that it can be apply to normal creature (gor, skral, wardrak) not on bosses... And for normal troll ???

Is it normal that i read somewhere that his capacity doesn't work on troll too, even if he's a normal creature?

Trolls are also normal creatures.that means you can use his ability on trolls too.

The official rules say, it does not work on trolls. It would have been to strong, if he can weak them but get the normal reward. But nowbody would fool you, if you play it the other way
In the in-game-story you could explain it like this: Trolls are wildliving creaturs while the others are created by Dragons or dark magic...
