Hi kitoskeris4!
My english is more bad thayour's

Is the third Legends of Andor (The Last Hope) a good game? It is better or worse in comparsion to the first one? I ask that because the first one is sold out =(

It's a good game like the 1st piece of the triologie. For the Story it's more exciting when you play the 1st game before.

Does the game allow customization?

Yes, with free mini-expansions you can change the legend. Some legends have special elements, wich changes the legend.

Like, can I create my own characters with it's own characteristics? Or could I at least recreate the same characters on the game with different images / names but with the same characteristics?

everything is possible.

If the 2 is a yes, is there a strong / active community that creates custom characters and/or provide materials to do so?

Yes, yes, yes!

I've seen the game has quite some expansions and characters available to buy. Are they worth it? Do they really improve the game?

Yes, they are it worth. The products bring new tasks, new characters or/and new variants for to change the game.

Is Legends of Andor: Chada & Thorn worth it? How it is compared to the main game?

I can't say it well i haven't the Game.

Sorry for the bad englisch

I just buyed it, and I think it has more difficulty, but You can easily learn it.
The story is better, but you cant really understand it, if you didnt play the other 2 parts.

Yes, and its really easy!

If the 2 is a yes, is there a strong / active community that creates custom characters and/or provide materials to do so?

Yes, there are fan-characters and fan-legends but theyre often written in german

Hi kitoskeris4,

I will also try to answer your questions. First of all I think I can help you with Chada and Thorn because I have that game ^^

I won't answer with yes or now, because you must decide if it fits for you or not. But maybe its useful.

Is the third Legends of Andor (The Last Hope) a good game? It is better or worse in comparsion to the first one? I ask that because the first one is sold out =(

The Last Hope is a Stand Alone Game. But it tells the end of the Legends of Andor. So you can play it without the Legends before, but the story may be difficult to understand.
The Legends do more storytelling than in "The Legends of Andor" and "Trip to the North" but, in my opinion they are more difficult to play.

So in comparrison it's not easy to say wich one is better. It depends on what you want.
Deeper story, more storytelling and difficult legends: Last Hope
A little bit less storytelling, more background informations, the beginning of the whole story and some easier legends than in the Last Hope: The Legends of Andor.

Does the game allow customization?

Yes, of course! In the german rules is a "developer guide" and in the first generation were some blanko cards in the game to develop your own legend. Now you can find this informations in the forum and on the website of the Legends of Andor.

So I come to your next point with the characters and legends:

Feel free to do what you want! Create your own Character! Maybe you create a useful price Thorald?! ;) Or create your own legend!
You can ask the community in this forum whenever you need their help for testing your work or only chatting about Andor. Or if you have a quastion to the rules of the game. Normaly you get an answer very soon after asking. So we have a very active community and a realy great one.

You can look in the Tabs "Fan-Helden" and "Fan-Legenden" to finde all the characters and legends made by the community. The Tab "Spielvarianten" contains little expansions made by fans for fans.

I've seen the game has quite some expansions and characters available to buy. Are they worth it? Do they really improve the game?

Some of this expansions, characters and legends you can also find on the website. There you can find some backgroundstories to the characters too. The characters you can buy allow you playing the game with 5-6 players and every character has it's own specialities to make the game more difficult or easy. With the other expansion packs you can discover the world of Andor and his story.
So if you want to know ALL you definitly will need it ;)
But for the beginning "The Legends of Andor" or "The Last Hope" will do a good job.

Is Legends of Andor: Chada & Thorn worth it? How it is compared to the main game?

So I think, this is a very difficult question...
I think, you can't compare C&T with "The Legends of Andor" because it's a complete different system.
First of all: C&T is a game only for two players or one single player.
The second thing is: it's more a deck building game. You must pass Narkon. For that purpose you must deal with your card decks to manage this.
If you like the stories on the last cards in the Legends of Andor you may be disappointed, because they are lost at the end of the stations you must pass in C&T.

Some people like the game, some not. In my opinion it's a nice game for two players in the World of Andorif you don't have the time to play a normal legend or to take it with you in Holiday.
But it's not realy necessary for the whole story.

I hope, you find the answer useful an a way ;)

Greetings to brazil!
The Cat ;)

Hello kitoskeris4!

Our dear Cat is right with every thing. Just a few points to edit:

I'm now playing "The last Hope" for the first time, and in my opinion it's not only the tasks, wich are more difficult. The rules are more and much more complex, and worse explained than in "The Legends of Andor". But if you have played the other parts before, there are not so many new things.
But "The last Hope" is great to play, very good story and great mechanics (how things work, specialy the enemies). So if you can't wait till the first part of the story is avaiabel again, you won't do anything wrong ;)

"Chada & Thorn" ist a quite nice two-player cardgame, but it's nothing special. Very few storytelling and even fewer development of the mechanics, so the manythings of Andor missing. It's a completly differnt game. But I kinda like it.
But if you want to completly dive into the Andor-story it is really nice to have!

The many many things which can be found on the website and in this forum (heros, legends, story and even more) are really great, but mostly not translatet to any other language.
But we're all want to help every new (and old) Andori, so if you want to know what things mean, and google translate doesn't help, fell free to ask! ;)

Greetings to Brazil!
Boggart
