Fan from abroad- request for translation

Hello guys;

I am very happy that I have found this site. I was looking for the new legends (i have just finished all originals legends).

Now I would like to play the legends created by you- viewforum.php?f=5. Unfortunately I don't know german language. That's why I have a question if there is a guy who can easily translate these legends (google translateur doesn't work well)? Maybe someone is capable to do it or there are legends in any other language which I can download? I know french, english and polish language.

Hello,

I may be able to help you. Unfortunatley, my english is fairly simple and basic, it wouldn´t be suited for a proper translation of a game scenario.

I´m also unknown of the terms that are used in the translated versions of Andor, e.g. the Gor, which is the lowest level monster or the "Trinkschlauch" which may be called waterskin in the english version - or it does not. This may result in a confusion if certain events, items, platelets etc. are to be played.

In the end, I could roughly translate some of the legends that are to your liking and you would have to decrypt it.

Now I will ask the other members of the board about recommendable legends, as I have yet to play them (I´m busy with the main game).


Könntet ihr uns mitteilen, welche von den Fan-Legenden besonders hervorstechen? Ich kam bis jetzt noch nicht dazu, eine zu spielen, ich bin noch mit den Hauptspiel und den Erweiterungen beschäftigt. Neben der Qualität wäre auch der Umfang und die Komplexität ein Faktor, damit auch das Übersetzen nicht zu qualvoll wird. Wobei mir auch einleuchtet, dass die besseren Legenden sich eben gerade dadaurch auszeichnen , dass sie länger und komplexer sind.

You can have alook at BGG.com, search for "Legend of Andor". In the files section, you will find some fan legends in English.

Mein Englische ist jetzt nicht so toll, deswegen schreib ich jetzt hier mal auf Deutsch (vielleicht kann das ja dann mal jemand sinngemäß ins Englische übersetzen?):

Hast du die Legende ins Englische oder ins Polnische übersetzt?
Könntest du die dann hier reinstellen? (dann hätte ich schon ein Weihnachtsgeschenk fertig). Ich wäre besonders scharf auf die, wenn sie denn existiert, auf die polnische Übersetzung.
Ich denke allgemein, das man viele Leute hier finden würde, die gerne so eine Übersetzung zum spielen hätten. Könnte man dafür nicht ein eigenes Forum einrichten?

Did you translade the Legend in english or in polish?
- ist it possible to post it right here? ´cause i have already finished a Christmaspresent.
i would like to have the Legend - even it´s in Polish Language.
I think we could find a lot of People who want an already translated Version of the Legends - maybe we can open an Community for translated extensions and Legends in other Languages.

hab mal ein bisschen gesucht, außerhalb von Deutschland gibts gar keine Sternschild/5-6 Spieler/Reise inden Norden - Erweiterungen und auch nicht annähernd so viele Fanlegenden. Die Armen. Gibts dafür Gründe?

denke das kommt, weil das spiel noch recht neu ist, und die absatzzahlen noch nicht reichen..
